Vendor Listing Policy
Last updated May 18, 2026
This policy explains how vendor applications, vendor listings, and vendor claims are handled on Dealer List.
Application review
Vendors can apply to list their business. An application does not guarantee publication.
Dealer List may review business identity, website, product fit, dealer relevance, category fit, service area, and submitted claims before approval.
Listing accuracy
Vendor listings must accurately describe the vendor, product, category, service area, and dealership applicability.
Vendors are responsible for keeping their profile, product information, contact details, and claims current.
Claims requiring verification
OEM-approved, OEM-required, certified integration, preferred provider, official partner, and similar claims require evidence before being displayed as verified claims.
Dealer List may remove, hide, or downgrade claims that cannot be verified.
Seeded listings
Dealer List may seed vendor records from official public sources to make the catalog useful during beta.
Seeded listings may be claimed or corrected by authorized vendor representatives after verification.
Removal and correction
Dealer List may correct, suspend, or remove listings that are inaccurate, outdated, duplicative, misleading, or outside the platform scope.
